Unlike shorter races, you can't just show up at the start line and expect to finish a half or full marathon. You'll need to have a plan of attack to cover this distance. You need to train your body physically and mentally for this distance. The average marathoner will take over 50,000 steps during a marathon race. Your very first step starts here.
Prerequisites: This plan is structured for runners currently capable of running at least 30 miles in a given training week and can run at least 7 miles in one training session before starting this plan. If you do not fit these prerequisites I encourage you to check out our half-marathon running program before you start this one.
With this EBOOK, your running skill will be built up and improved upon by focusing on core training concepts and marathon-specific workouts to build capacity, endurance & strength. So that when race days arrive you can feel your best and run through the finish line strong.
